why are people calling this filler?? its anime canon, the manga had a 6 month timeskip and they're using this opportunity to let the manga go lil farther since the anime was only a couple chapters behind the manga. also tabata is helping with the story with the anime canon too, so its not filler at all
Akira Toriyama worked on some of the filler in Dbz so what's your point? Call it whatever you want but it's boring filler whether Tabata is involved or not. And who gives a damn if it's canon or not anyway? It's not as if most people are gonna rewatch these episodes once the entire show has finished airing. I just want some actual story developments before the year ends. Anything at this point.
How am i supposed to know if i don't like something if i don't give it a chance dizzy? Nobody is gonna rewatch these episodes when they rewatch the series so yall can stop trying to pretend like it's a serious arc like we don't all know it's filler.
If you can not tell if you like a series by episode 138, I can suggest some longer ones for you. One Piece or Case Closed might be better choices then. Plus character backstory is not filler. Bleach has some good examples of pointless filler.
y'all suck for hating on this. first, it's not filler cuz the mangaka is supervising it...so it's basically canon pre-timeskip arc. u don't realize how close the anime and manga are to each other at this point. it would literally take maybe 10-15 eps (probably less tbh) to get to where the manga is at rn. give Tabata some time to further the manga story and then spade arc will be here. there's this thing called patience...use it
